Working with editors and reviewers

A review runs smoothly when everyone knows their part. Editors turn feedback into fixes; reviewers give clear notes and confirm the fixes. Magpiie keeps both sides in sync without drowning anyone in pings.

Who does what

Editors (including writers, designers, audio engineers)	Reviewers (producers, creators, clients)
Upload drafts and new versions, with release notes.	Leave pinned comments with a category and priority.
Work through assigned comments and update their state.	Answer questions on comments marked Needs info.
Reply when a note is unclear or cannot be done.	Check fixes on the new version and reopen what did not land.
Resolve comments once the fix is in.	Approve the version when it is ready.

Notifications

Choose instant notifications or a daily digest.

Editors are notified as soon as feedback arrives.
Reviewers are notified when a new revision is ready for them.
Anyone can switch to a daily digest instead of constant pings.
Gentle reminders surface reviews that are still pending.
Each person sets their own notification preferences.

A healthy review rhythm

The editor uploads a version with release notes saying what to look at.
Reviewers leave all their notes in one pass, by an agreed time.
The editor asks questions in the threads, then works through the comments.
The next version goes up, and reviewers check the carried-forward notes.
Repeat until the draft is approval-ready, then approve.
