Leaving pinned comments

Every comment in Magpiie is pinned to the exact place it is about. The person fixing it never has to work out what "the bit near the start" means.

Pause, pin, draw if it helps, and set the priority.

Where comments pin on each format

Format	You point at
Video and shorts	A frame on the timeline. You can also draw on the frame.
Scripts	A line or passage, with an optional suggested edit.
Audio	A second on the waveform.
Thumbnails	A spot on the image.

Go to the exact spot: pause the video or audio, select the script line, or click the image.
Write the note. Say what is wrong and, if you know, what you want instead.
Tag a category: visual, audio, text, timing, or graphics.
Set the priority: Must Fix for blockers, Suggestion for nice-to-haves.
Optionally assign it to the person who will fix it. See Assigning comments to editors.
Submit. The comment starts as Open, and the team is notified.

One issue per comment. Two problems in one note means one of them gets missed.
Be specific. "Logo is 20% too big and covers the face" beats "logo feels off".
Say what good looks like. Suggest the fix, or link a reference.
Use priority honestly. If everything is Must Fix, nothing is.
Draw when words fail. Circling the problem on the frame is often faster than describing it.
