Reviewing scripts

Script drafts open as a document, so the team can agree on the words before anything is shot or recorded. It is the cheapest point in production to change your mind.

Leave feedback on a script

1. 1Open the script draft.
2. 2Select the line or passage you want to comment on.
3. 3Write your note, or suggest an edit with the wording you would use instead.
4. 4Tag a category and priority, then submit.

The comment stays pinned to that line. Suggested edits appear next to the original copy, so the writer can see exactly what you would change and decide whether to take it.

What to look for at the script stage

• The hook. Does the opening earn the next 30 seconds?
• Claims and facts. Anything a sponsor, brand, or legal team needs to check.
• Sponsor reads and calls to action. Agreed wording, in the agreed place.
• Length. Cutting a paragraph now is easier than cutting a scene later.
• Voice. Does it sound like the creator or the brand?
