Replacing a draft with a new revision
When the fixes are done, upload the new file as a new version of the same draft. The comments stay, the history stays, and reviewers are pointed at the new cut.
Upload a new version
- Open the draft you are revising.
- Upload the new file as a new version of that draft.
- Add release notes that say what changed and which comments it addresses.
- Let reviewers know it is ready. They are notified when a new revision is ready for them.
What carries over
- Every comment, reply, and decision on earlier versions stays in the history.
- Unresolved comments carry forward onto the new version, pinned in the same place on the timeline, the image, or the document.
- Earlier versions stay available to open and compare.
