Reviewing audio

Audio drafts open in a waveform view that works for podcast episodes, voiceovers, and music. Comments pin to the exact second, so nobody scrubs through a 60-minute episode looking for "the bit where it clips".

Leave feedback on audio

1. 1Open the audio draft and play it.
2. 2Pause where something needs attention.
3. 3Add a comment and describe the fix.
4. 4Tag the category (usually audio or timing) and priority, then submit.

The engineer clicks the comment and lands on that second instead of searching for it.

Common audio notes

• Levels: a guest who is quieter than the host, or music that fights the voice.
• Noise: clipping, hum, breaths, or mouth clicks to clean up.
• Edits: a stumble or a tangent to cut, or a pause that runs too long.
• Pickups: a line to re-record, with the replacement wording in the comment.
• Music and ads: stingers, transitions, and ad-read placement.
