Understanding version history

Every draft keeps its full history, whatever the format. Version history tells you who uploaded what, what changed, and which feedback each version answered.

What you can do from version history

• See who uploaded each version and when.
• Read the release notes attached to each version.
• Compare any two versions to see which comments were addressed.
• Restore a previous version if the new one went the wrong way.

Compare two versions

1. 1Open the latest version of the draft.
2. 2Pick the earlier version you want to compare against.
3. 3Comments from that version appear on the current one, in the same place on the timeline, the image, or the document.
4. 4Check each note against the new version, then resolve it or reopen it.

Activity history
