Upload issues
Most upload problems come down to the connection, the file type, or the space left on your plan. Work through the checks below in order.
Quick checks
| Symptom | What to try |
|---|---|
| Upload is very slow | Large files take time on your side, especially long videos and audio. Check your connection speed and avoid uploading several large files at once on a slow network. |
| Upload stopped part way | Uploads are chunked and resumable. Keep the tab open, reconnect, and the upload picks up where it left off instead of starting again. |
| File is rejected | Check the file type is supported. See the list in Supported content formats. |
| File is too big | Per-file size limits scale with your plan. Export a smaller review copy, or upgrade for larger limits. |
| Out of storage | Storage is 5 GB on Free, 1 TB on Creator Crew, and 2 TB on Studio Crew. Remove drafts you no longer need, or upgrade. |
| Upload finished but the draft is not ready | Magpiie processes each file after upload. Long or high-resolution files take a little longer. Give it a few minutes before re-uploading. |
Export a lighter review copy
Reviewers rarely need the master file. For review rounds, a web-friendly export (for example an MP4 at 1080p) uploads faster and plays smoothly for everyone. Upload the full-quality master once the draft is approved, if you need it in Magpiie at all.
Still stuck?
- Try a different browser, or a private window to rule out extensions.
- Try a different network. Some office and hotel networks restrict large uploads.
- Contact support with the file type, size, and what you see. See Contact support.
